The Villa
Villa Vernaschi sits among the soft, rolling hills of the Terra dei Castelli, the "Land of Castles", dotted with medieval hamlets, and looks out over breathtaking views that stretch all the way to the mountain ranges of the Apennines. A classic Italian villa, lovingly restored, wrapped in gardens and wide-open views across the Marche countryside.

Days here unfold slowly: a swim in the pool, an aperitivo as the light turns golden, and long dinners beneath the wooden portico at the water's edge. Exclusively yours, with no other guests and nobody else in sight.
Villa Holidays
Gather the family or your closest friends. The villa sleeps up to 18 guests (plus two little ones), with a private pool, a wooden portico for dining alfresco and gardens made for doing very little at all.
The Location
Le Marche is one of Italy's most authentic regions: unspoilt, generous and still wonderfully undiscovered. The villa lies in the heart of the Colli dell'Infinito, the Hills of the Infinite, a district of towns that stretches from the Adriatic Riviera up into the hills.
Distances
The view
From the villa, the view sweeps across rolling hills patterned with vineyards, olive groves and wheat fields, all the way to the great chain of the Apennines on the horizon, from Monte San Vicino to the Sibillini Mountains, snow-capped in winter. All around are medieval hill towns with their walls and towers, wineries pouring Rosso Conero and Verdicchio, village markets and trattorias where Marche cooking is still proper home cooking.
Monte Conero
Just 25 to 30 minutes away lies Monte Conero, the only headland on the Adriatic between Trieste and the Gargano. Protected as the Conero Regional Park, it offers woodland trails, white limestone cliffs above a turquoise sea and the beaches of Sirolo, Numana and Portonovo, including Due Sorelle, reachable only by boat.
